I’m really getting into this crafting stuff and I’ve been searching the internet for idea for future craft projects, so here’s a shortlist of my favourites:
Watercolour embroidery – I’m a big fan of displaying things in embroidery hoops, and finding this little watercolour cloud has really brightened my day. This is such a simple idea and yet so effective, I can’t believe nobody thought of it sooner. And hopefully more time will be spent peacefully water colouring than spent painfully pricking fingers. Paper teacup – Well isn’t this just the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen? A teacup, made out of paper, with little cross stitch hearts – it’s so cute I’m almost in tears. Plus if you make one sturdy enough it can hold all sorts of things, but maybe not tea. I think by far this is quite obviously the best thing ever. You can find templates and instructions for this at http://www.nexttonicx.com/blog/?p=5675
Animal organisation – I am just about the most unorganised person ever, so something that’ll make organising just that little bit more fun is like a dream come true for me. If you’re anything like me you’ll have have threads or cotton stashed away somewhere gradually turning into a tangled mess, and it probably seems like all hope is lost. This is where these little creatures come in. These tiny critters will work wonders on your craft stash, and it’ll be looking neat and tidy in no time. Not only are they easy on the eyes, but they’re easy to make too. Head over here for the how to http://www.highwallsblog.com/2013/10/diy-animal-thread-organisers/
